They become the fifth father-son combination to reach the mark. Ahead of them are Fletcher 642 games (Ken 264, Dustin 378*), Tuck 597 (Michael 426, Shane 171), Silvagni 551 (Sergio 239, Stephen 312) and Cloke 526 (David 330, Travis 193). Behind them are Scarlett 496 (John 212, Matthew 284), Watson 478 (Tim 307, Jobe 171), Whitten 465 (Ted Sr 321, Ted Jr 144), Tuck 446 (Michael 426, Travis 20) and Richardson 418 (Wayne 277, Mark 141).
AFL Life Membership: Ryan O’Keefe (SYD) will qualify for AFL Life Membership in Round 22 with his 300th official game, comprising 277 premiership matches, one State of Origin match, 17 preseason games and four International Rules matches.
250 games: Andrew Embley (WCE) becomes the seventh player in Eagle history to reach 250 games. Ahead of him are Glen Jakovich (276 games, 1991-2004), Dean Cox (271 games, 2001-current), Guy McKenna (267 games, 1988-2000), Drew Banfield (265 games, 1993-2006), Darren Glass (260 games, 2000-current) and Peter Matera (253 games, 1990-2002). Most Games, Indigenous Player: Shaun Burgoyne (HAW) will play his 240th game in Round 22, putting him equal with his brother Peter in tenth place for most games by an Indigenous player.
